Who We Are

The Professional Photographers of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is a trade organization which promotes integrity and the advancement of professional photography as a respected and honored profession.

What We do

An affiliate of Professional Photographers of America, Southeastern Professional Photographers Association, and the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association, the PPMT exists to provide an atmosphere of education and fellowship for professional photographers, their staff and families. Print critiques, informative and educational seminars, social events, print competitions and scholarships, serve its members by improving their artistry, business skills and camaraderie.

Monthly Meetings

PPMT holds monthly meetings with different programs each month. These are perfect opportunities for networking and development.

Meetings are held at 7:00pm on the 2nd Tuesday after the 1st Monday of each month except June and December.

Continuing Education

MCPPA supports and encourages its members to keep up with the changing trends of the photographic industry. The Association invites speakers from all over the country to come and speak at the monthly meetings. The programs range from Successful Studios to Wedding photography and provide new ideas and cutting edge information. The Music City Professional Photographers is changing for the best.

Print Competition

The best way to improve your craft is by competing in the Print Competition. Your images will be judged and critiqued, by experienced Professional Photographers of America qualified judges. Many different award possibilities. Also awarded are: Judge’s Choice, along with Best of Category.

Summer Picnic

Join the MCPPA family and make friends for a lifetime. The Association serves as a close knit family thriving on communication and friendship among its members. June is our annual picnic meeting held in a relaxed country setting.

Find a Photographer

Prospective buyers of photography can access our Membership Directory to Find a Photographer. Referrals to members in their area, knowing that they will be dealing with a business with integrity, ethical practices, creativity and the passion to produce the image the client wants. Keep watch!
